Young and Out
May 5th, 2010 | By admin | Category: Audio Revolution, Radio Show
This week on Audio Revolution! hosts Sedona Walker Morrissey and Sergei Nurod explore the identities behind the acronym LGBT — Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender. What is it like to have those identities as a teenager? And how is it to come out and express those identities openly during high school? Narratives and commentaries from Mark Springer, Conor Cole, Paul Van Sickle, Felicia Anaya, and Jesse Welsh explore these questions. The show also includes audio cascades, a panel discussion with Monte del Sol’s Gay/Straight Alliance, and a special interview with the local performance group, the Gender Offenders!
